Lead to Influence
Lead to Influence was birthed out of the leadership concept by John Maxwell, who said, “Leadership is influence.” In the effort of seeing what breaks God’s heart was seeing the leadership deficit in the world today. Lead to Influence’s aim is to aid businesses, non-profits, and government organizations in developing great leaders who want to demonstrate servant leadership and lead engaged teams that drive the performance of their organizations. Shanti’s passion is to help organization leaders achieve meaningful transformation and growth in their personal and professional lives. She believes this transformation can also counteract poverty in the world as an organization caps out at the level of the leaders. As the leaders grow, the organization grows, and in turn, the country grows. Thus a rippling effect is created. Abundance thinking and serving minds are the core of Lead to Influence’s purpose.
My coaching style
I’ve had the fortune of working with great innovators and leaders who have the right mindset and vision for a successful business. However, the only thing they’re often missing is the right business structure, systems, and management strategies that hold them back from reaching their full potential.
My business coaching style is designed to be personal and bespoke to the needs of my clients. I focus on honesty with a no-nonsense approach and genuine empathy to provide real value and satisfaction to every client and their business.

A passionate servant leader, wife and mother of three girls, Shanti Persaud is on a mission to empower people to live empowering lives. With over 20 years of experience in business and six years of Banking experience, she believes she can add value to others with the knowledge she has by “teaching them to fish.” From her high school age, Shanti envisioned being someone who would be a builder of people. Thus, she embarked on her growth journey by achieving a Degree in Business Management from the University of Guyana, a Master’s in Business Administration and a Doctor in Transformational Leadership from Bakke Graduate University, Texas, USA. She understands that in order to give, she must have, and thus she got certified as a Maxwell Certified coach, speaker, and trainer and an ActionCOACH Business and Executive Coach.
Shanti is also a Behavioral Analysis Trainer, an Accumatch Behavioral Intelligence Coach, an NLP Practitioner and a CBET certified trainer. With over eight years of experience in corporate training and more than five years of experience in business and executive coaching, her passion is to help organization leaders achieve meaningful transformation and growth in their personal and professional lives. Additionally, she serves on different boards, such as a director of the Youth with a Mission Guyana and the President of the Auxiliary of the Gideon’s International in her camp. She has started the first non-profit leadership foundation in Guyana, which teaches values and soft skills to individuals with the purpose of building leaders who will transform their homes, organizations, communities, and country.
Presently, she is the chairperson of the security and governance committee at the American Chamber of Commerce (Guyana) and has served over 12 years on the Georgetown Chambers of Commerce council. She is a member of the Guyana Manufacturing and Service Association. Her passion for outstanding leadership is demonstrated through her faith. She believes that we are all made to do great work. Her favourite quote is from Mahatma Gandhi, who said, “Be the change you wish to see in the World.”

As a seasoned business executive with over 25 years in leadership, she has successfully created cross-functional teams and mentored and empowered hundreds of individuals to leverage their superpowers to unleash their potential. She is the founder/CEO of Evolve Business Solutions Inc., focused on maximising talent in human capital by offering Coaching, Mentoring, Training and business development support services. In addition, Avia launched Collection by AVIA MARIA, an E-commerce lifestyle brand, in 2020.
As a graduate of Coach Transformation Academy (CTA) and Senior Certified Professional Coach (SCPC), Avia integrates her Personality Assessment, Emotional Intelligence expertise and the other Models to partner with individuals on their journey to self-mastery.
Avia has also held several leadership roles as Chief Executive Officer and Manager in the retail and travel industries.
